Social Media Debate

The video spread across platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), where Pune-based entrepreneur Chirag Barjatya reposted it, writing: “What’s happening in Haryana? A kid is sitting on a Thar (obviously) and saying his dad who is a policeman will save him? Save him from what? High time, Mahindra should start seizing such people and cars.”

Barjatya’s post sparked a wave of criticism, as users criticized the dangerous act. This is so dangerous, not just for the kid but for everybody on the road,” the comment reads. “It is irresponsible and gives a bad message, knowing the father is a policeman.”

Some of them threatened to attack Mahindra, the car maker, saying the company needs to take action against this act. One commenter said: “Mahindra needs to take action against such acts. So, it does not repeat anytime in future.”
The video now begets a lot of discussions over matters of safety, responsibility, and the role of influencers in spreading responsible behavior.
