A 19-year-old, Dhruv Gupta, allegedly drove a speeding Porsche into motorcycles parked along a footpath in Bandra, Mumbai, early Saturday morning, according to police officials. Fortunately, no one was injured in the crash.
The police have charged Dhruv with rash and negligent driving, and his blood samples were sent for chemical analysis to determine if he was intoxicated during the incident. Authorities also revealed that Dhruv is the son of a prominent businessman.
The crash occurred at around 2:40 AM near Sadhu Vaswani Chowk when Dhruv reportedly lost control of the vehicle. Initial reports indicate five people, including a woman, were in the luxury car at the time. The accident was captured on CCTV, and the footage has since gone viral on social media.

This incident adds to a series of high-profile crashes involving luxury cars in Mumbai. In July, Mihir Shah, the son of a Shiv Sena politician, crashed his BMW into a couple riding a scooter in Worli, resulting in the death of the woman and injury to her husband. Shah was arrested and later admitted to driving under the influence of alcohol. The woman, Kaveri Nakhwa, was dragged by the car for 1.5 kilometers after the collision.
